The Company:

Fast growing national insurance broker with over 15 years wholesale and broking experience.
Midlands based office dealing with both national and international clients.
Specialising in various insurance sectors including property owners, commercial combined and household.

Role Requirements & Duties:

Underwrite new business profitability, accurately and in line with established Underwriting practice.
Supply underwriting and administration support as required.
Maintain and develop business relationships with intermediaries.
Produce timely and accurate documentation.
Actively encourage generation of profitable new business.

Candidate Skills and Competencies:

Previous combined underwriting experience is essential and other sector experience would be beneficial.
Understanding the risk and desirability to insurers.
You will also demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Cert CII qualification desirable but not necessary.
Previous experience of dealing with brokers or insurers required.
