Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Buyer to join our client's prestigious team, specialising in providing products within the Fleet and Logistics Market. As a Commercial Buyer, you will engage in a lucrative training programme, working closely alongside the Commercial Manager. The Commercial Buyer will have the opportunity to grow, and take the next progressive step into Management.

Duties include:

  • Purchasing a niche product
  • Stock management
  • Daily interaction and commercial negotiations with key suppliers
  • Quarterly face-to-face meetings with key suppliers
  • Forecast and manage weekly stock levels
  • Distribution of UK & European cost prices

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Leadership skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Determined individual who is keen to move into a management position
  • Confident in engaging with Clients over the phone and face to face
