You will be joining a public sector organisation based in Staffordshire.
Your new role
The main responsibilities for this position are to provide commercial support to internal stakeholders across multiple streams of the organisation. You will be charged with conducting and managing public sector tenders from end to end and providing business advice to support stakeholders deliver the best possible service within the resources available for the service users. You will deliver the organisations procurement, purchasing and commercial strategies and advise on compliance with said strategies in line with public sector procurement rules and regulations. In turn you will ensure the organisations commercial expenditure delivers value for money to the organisation maximising the use of resources.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be fully CIPS Qualified or have a Level 6 Business Management Qualification with strong evidence of public procurement knowledge. Previous relevant experience of operating as a manager level is ideal as is having a strong understanding of business change principles. Previous experience of managing projects and a track record of providing high quality customer focused service would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
You will be paid up to £44,000 depending on experience and qualifications on top of an excellent benefits package. Flexible working options available.
