One of the South's leading commercial insurance providers based in the Bournemouth area are looking for a Commercial Sales/Broking person to join them due to expansion and staff progression.
You will be offering commercial insurance solutions to a continuously growing sector of the UK market. The broker is renowned for providing solutions in various specialist sectors and is led by experienced Directors and Managers. The majority of new business enquiries are generated from either cold/warm leads or prospective clients ringing in for a quotation. Monthly targets are consistently achieved by existing team members as successful quotations provided come from having access to a comprehensive list of market leading covers.
Insurances offered are quoted using various online or internal resources including specialist schemes and unique relationships. You will be able to make instant informed decisions regarding most clients in terms of their cover limits, requirements and pricing. The aim is to give you the maximum flexibility in order to win and secure new business orders with confidence. You will enjoy achieving incentives and bonuses which are based on a mix of financial and performance related activity.
The company is looking for individuals with a good secondary education and those with recent experience from any background of insurance new business or sales handling roles. Particular interest will be in those with current or previous experience of selling commercial insurances to businesses.
You will be joining a company that prides itself on employee progression and provides a large array of flexible benefits including a generous holiday allowance and support for CII qualifications. You will be part of a larger team of both renewal and claims handlers in an open plan office with working hours being 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
