Commercial Assistant - Real Estate Management

We’re looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our Estates Management team to help manage and expand our exceptional student accommodation through our 'Chapter Living’ brand as well as our Multifamily (build to rent) properties throughout London.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager you’ll work collaboratively with a varied range of people across the business to support the delivery of business plan targets and the execution of strategies for achieving excellence by generating and analysing reports on the performance of our capital renovations and deferred maintenance works.

Day to day you’ll assist the Commercial Manager to ensure all Capital Renovations and Deferred Maintenance projects are properly budgeted, accurately reported and the Greystar cost database is developed and kept up to date. You’ll also play a key part in project teams to implement process improvements, new applications and programs targeted to improve performance.

As our ideal candidate, you will be degree qualified in a construction/engineering/ economic or analytical subject and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of turning data into knowledge through researching and presenting financial and business metrics with a talent for demonstrating patterns, trends and solving problems.

You’ll be a strong communicator with a commercial mind-set and a passion for delivering great customer service. You’ll be able to build positive and collaborative relationships at all levels and be effective at communicating technical ideas. You’ll also possess a flexible approach to work and will thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Experience of dealing with sub-contractors and material management in a large or small construction environment would be advantageous as would a professional or masters qualification in a related field.

Salary £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus and company benefits.
