This role will be integral to the sales forecasting process for the business, and produce insight into sales/ schedules versus plan.
Working closely with the Sales, Design and R&D teams, this critical role will be responsible for maintaining a database of market opportunities, for tracking win rates and market shares, and for forecasting future revenues. In addition to the monthly reporting there is likely to be ad hoc analysis involving taking large amounts of data, distilling what is important to the business and publishing reports and key metrics to the management teams.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have direct experience, and a high level of proficiency in the following areas:
Required Experience / Skills:
• Analysis and manipulation of data with the ability to convert data into actionable and insightful information.
• Strong presentation & reporting skills that distil and communicate key messages to Commercial and Leadership teams
• Understanding of relational databases
Experience as a Marketing / Commercial or Financial Analyst desirable
Advanced Excel skills including filtering and sorting data, formulas, data validation, pivot tables and chart creation.
Knowledge of Powerpoint including creating and formatting charts and graphics
