Commercial Account Handler/Broker, Kent. Up to £27,000 basic plus bonuses.
Excellent opportunity for someone with commercial insurance experience to further develop themselves within the insurance market, working fora very supportive, forward thinking insurance broker.
Full support/funding given for any ongoing professional qualifications.
Within this role you will be required to convert new business leads provided to you from various sources generated by the business.
Broking and negotiating cover within the appropriate markets.
Once a client is on board you will then be responsible for account managing them through to the renewal process.
Contact potential customers who have expressed an interest in being contacted about their commercial insurance needs.
Gathering relevant information from the customer to understand their insurance needs.
Present this information to the market to get the best possible cover and price, then going back to the customer and securing the business.
You will be required to work towards personal monthly and yearly new business targets as well as assisting the new business team and the company on the whole to achieve monthly and yearly targets.
Assist the existing business team with client queries, midterm adjustments and renewals.
You must have previous experience working within Commercial Insurance (Broker or Insurer).
Possess strong negotiation skills and be an effective communicator (written and verbal).
Well organised, driven and excellent attention to detail.
