Commercial Account Handler

Our client - an independent broker has a new and exciting opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join our team. A minimum of 3 years’ Commercial Insurance experience is essential. The candidate will ideally be fully Cert CII qualified or studying towards completion. They will also fully support and provide funding towards ongoing professional qualification. The successful candidate will be joining a busy, proactive team of brokers who specialise in Commercial Insurance.

Minimum 3 years Commercial

What skills do we need?

Insurance Experience (Broker or Insurer)

Must be CERT CII (Would accept part qualified with a desire to complete)

Have a strong and current technical knowledge of:

  • Property Owners
  • Tradesman
  • SME Package Business
  • Commercial Combined
  • Combined Liability
  • Contractors All Risk Covers
  • PI & D&O

Negotiation skills

Effective Communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to work alone or as part of a team

High attention to detail

Form and develop strong Insurer and Client relationships

High Level Customer Service skills

Time management and Organisational skills

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm
