Commercial Account Handler

National brokerage based in South Yorkshire has a vacancy for a Commercial Account Handler. You will be responsible for handling the internal servicing of clients accounts and for providing an internal back up to the Account Executives. Taking instructions to deal with necessary adjustments to policies, negotiating with insurers on renewal terms and preparing reports for presentation to clients. Additionally you will comment on policy wordings, suggest improvements to covers and check all documentation before issue to clients. You will have some minor involvement in new business enquiries, will discuss alterations to policies and amendments with the client and liaise with insurer surveyors to ensure risk improvements are implemented.

It is essential when you apply for this position that you have suitable commercial insurance experience. You must also possess excellent communication skills, be self motivated and have good interpersonal and presentation skills.
