Commercial Account Handler for a global broker, based in Manchester || competitive salary + bonus
Your new company
In your new job, you will be working for a global firm specialising in risk management. My client prides themselves on delivering results through an in depth knowledge of the market and an understanding of the clients needs. Due to growth, the public sector team are looking for a Commercial Account Handler to advise a portfolio of public sector clients.
Your new role
In your new job, you will work closely with your Client Service Manager to fully understand your public sector clients needs, from this you will be able to deliver a high level of service and understand the business's insurance requirements. You will also be required to collect premiums whilst also ensuring that premiums are debited and allocated accurately. Your previous experience working within the commercial insurance industry will help you recommend changes for clients, negotiate renewal terms and mid-term adjustments.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience across all commercial lines, including exposure to Property, Liability and Fleet. You will ideally have knowledge of public sector risks and you will have experience in account management. You will display good technical insurance knowledge, you will ideally be ACII accredited or show an interest in furthering your insurance qualifications.
