Excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Account Executive to join an independent Insurance Broker in the Greater Manchester area. The role involves developing new business and ensuring the continuing profitable growth of a commercial book. Responsibilities will include prospecting and securing new commercial insurance business, both from leads derived within the business and through your own contacts and connections. You will be developing and managing relationships with contacts as part of a co-ordinated marketing approach and will retain an ongoing responsibility to manage relationships with larger clients as matters develop over time.
Candidates applying for this vacancy must be technically strong with relevant commercial insurance experience gained within an insurance broking environment. Our client operates a very diverse and growing book of business, you will help consolidate and continue a process of growth against an ongoing 5 year plan. You must have a strong and confident personality, possess excellent negotiation and customer facing skills, motivation and drive. Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with good client facing experience is essential. Progression with ACII qualification would be an advantage. You will have the opportunity to earn an uncapped bonus based upon a commission on income over and above a set target.
