Are you a successful commercial insurance sales and development professional looking for a new exciting hybrid role, where you service a book and win new business?? We are currently recruiting for a well-respected independent broking group based in Loughborough, that specialise in providing Commercial Insurance Cover for the Construction, Engineering, Leisure, Manufacturing & Retail & Supply markets and this is exactly what they are looking for!

They have forged a deserved reputation for offering a first-class service and are a major player in the East Midlands business community. They run a number of networking events, which means making business contacts and bringing in business is done how it should be!

They also provide a great place to work for those who wish to progress their career in a professional environment, and run a large number of team building days, from 5-a-side football tournaments with local businesses, fun runs, client and team Go Karting evenings, drag racing days and social time together means they work and play hard together and feel this results in their team being able to fully support and understand one another.

The successful candidate would be responsible for managing a book of cross class commercial business, currently standing at approx. £1million GWP, and targeted to bring in £250,000 GWP of New Business.

To be considered for this role, you will need at least 5 years’ experience gained in a similar commercial new business/account executive type position, and ideally have the Cert CII qualification, although applicants qualified through experience are also invited to apply.

You will be highly professional with a confident demeanour, a genuine relationship developer, and commercially astute.

Basic salary on offer is £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience with a £250 per month car allowance and a £5k annual bonus, which will be based on:

£1,500 attributable to achieving 100% renewal retention of circa £1m GWP (This is not 100% of the clients but 100% of the premium, so premium increases, new policies growth of clients etc all counts)

£3,500 attributable to achieving sales target of £250k GWP

Anything above these sales targets would result in an additional 25% of the commission or fees for on New Business.
