Collections Officer

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Collections Officer will be responsible for collecting customer debt whilst producing weekly and monthly debt/arrears reports. This role would suit candidates from a credit control, debt collecting or arrears background, looking to progress in a professional background.

Description

The Collections Officer will be responsible:

- Provide regular updates to the Financial Controller on arrears level

- Serve section notices

- Maintain working relationship with insurance provider

- Dealing with all arrears queries from customers

- Taking payments

- Dealing with universal credit accounts

- Own arrears MI reporting and ensuring that these reports are sent out to the business on time

Profile

The Collections Officer will be from the following background:

- Strong organisational and team working skills

- Confident communicator over the phone and via email

- Previous experience within a similar collections/arrears role

- Computer literate including Excel

Job Offer

- £18000 - £20000
