Portfolio are pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for a motivated Credit & Collections Manager working for a fast growing Financial Services business. The successful candidate must have proven capabilities in all areas of Credit Control Management but the role is heavily phone based. Other responsibilities include:

Main Duties:

  • MUST have experience collecting from Business to Consumer
  • Overall responsibility for the Credit & Collections function
  • Challenge existing collections framework (working standards, collections life cycle, payment hierarchy, contact strategies)
  • Achieve challenging service levels and KPIs
  • Build, manage and motivate a Collections team of 7 including a Team Leader while displaying core leadership skills and behaviours
  • Deliver a game-changing customer experience while also hitting liquidation and recovery targets
  • Adhere to FCA, CSA and OFCOM regulations as well as internal compliance regulations
  • Engage and build relationships with external stakeholders including Debt Management/IVA companies and third party collections agencies
  • Prepare and conduct weekly Collections Leadership meetings with CEO and other department leaders
  • Be prepared to get 'stuck in' by contacting customers and answering calls on the busiest collections days
