IMMEDIATE START!! Collections & Delivery Driver for our client, a superb Motor Trade Company near Leatherhead in Surrey. We require an experienced Collections and Delivery Driver who has an excellent geographical knowledge of the Surrey area and surrounding areas. (You must have a full UK license and be a minimum of 21 years old due to insurance reasons) coupled with no more than 3 points on your license. The role involves a lot of face to face communication with our clients so excellent presentation and excellent communication skills are also essential coupled with excellent customer service skills.
YOU MUST HAVE WORKED AS A DRIVER FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS, AND HELD A DRIVERS LICENSE FOR AT FOUR YEARS WITH NO MORE THAN 3 POINTS ON YOUR LICENSE.
The Collection and Delivery Drivers job is to collect customers vehicles and deliver them to the company. Once repaired your job is to then deliver them back to the customer. Customers trust us so you will always be professional, providing a first class service every time. It is also important that you drive vehicles in a safe and lawful manner, taking into account weather and traffic conditions. Not only do you need to collect and deliver vehicles but you also need to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed, collect payments and receipts, report accidents/incidents and comply fully with health and safety legislation, e.g. driving whilst under the influence of sleep inducing medication, driving vehicles for which you are not insured or trained
