Collections Advisor - Vauxhall Finance
Start Date: 30th July 2018
Shift/Hours: 37.5hrs - shifts will fall within the operational hours of Monday - Friday 08:00 - 20:00 & Saturday 09:00 - 13:00.

Right now, in partnership with Vauxhall Finance we're looking for Collections Advisers to join our Treforest Contact Centre. It's a great place to work - located just 25 minutes from Cardiff and regularly served by buses.
About the role
As a Collections Adviser, you'll deal with accounts that are in the early stages of arrears. You will receive calls from and make calls to customers with the intent of recovering monies owed. By conducting thorough reviews of the accounts in question, you will decide the most appropriate course of action to secure payment. As well as escalating cases where you suspect fraud you will undertake collections administration duties such as sending warning letters or Notice of Defaults to customers.
We're looking for people with previous experience in collections. You'll need to be used to dealing with external and internal customers where you have utilised your strong negotiation skills in situations that may become difficult. Priding yourself on excellent customer service, you'll be an excellent communicator and listener. Along with your computer skills, you will also need to have basic understanding of the Consumer Credit Act, FCA regulations and other relevant legislation.
