Co-Teacher - Inclusion - Secondary School - Lambeth

A 'Good' - 'Outstanding' secondary school in Lambeth is looking for a co-teacher to aid its inclusion classes. Sound slightly confusing? You're not alone. This a lesser known aspect of secondary teaching but an incredibly important part of a school's pledge to make learning accessible for all.

The role will involve working with another co-teacher in classes for students with SEN or behaviour needs. For a candidate to succeed in this role, they will ideally need an educational background in psychology and experience working in counselling, CBT, Psychology, Youth Community work (JNC) or youth work as they will be doing 1-1 and small group sessions with students.

What the school requires

  • An individual with an educational background in psychology would be ideal
  • Experience working with SEN children or any of the areas mentioned above
  • Someone willing to give everything to the role and establish a bond with each child

What the role offers

  • A salary between £20,583 and £24,379
  • A fantastic environment in which to work and develop your skills
  • The opportunity to progress up the career ladder

Co-teaching roles present both a unique challenge and an opportunity to work with some of the UK's most engaging and enthusiastic students. The background of the candidate is key and the school has specified that experience in this area is key.

If you meet the criteria stated and feel as though you are the right person for the role, please don't hesitate in APPLYING and give yourself the opportunity to make a difference to both your life and the lives of the children.
