Salary: Around £29K per annum (£14.50 per hour)

Shifts: Permanent days

TM Resourcing (Technical & Engineering) are proudly assisting a small, family run business in their search for talent.

We are actively looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join our clients business on a permanent basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for taking a drawing to finished article, taking care of the programming, setting and running of the machine.

Components within this company are up to 10" (25cm) in diameter and are usually in small to medium batch sizes (up to 200 off), most of which are for the Aerospace market.

The company employs around 10 people at the moment, they are looking to increase this number because they have plenty of work and need more manpower to ensure orders are fulfilled on time without being rushed.

Overtime is regularly available with this company and paid at 1.3 through the week and 1.5 on Fridays and Saturdays.

The company has a range of CNC lathes and VMCs, most of which are controlled by Fanuc. Whilst the company are actively looking for Turners, it would be very advantageous for candidates to be conversant in Milling also.

Position Details:

  • Starting Salary: £14.50 per hour

  • Working Hours:

    • Monday to Thursday - 7:30 to 4:45

    • Friday - 7:30 to 12:30

  • Overtime: Available most of the time

    • Paid @ 1.3 Monday to Thursday

    • Paid @ 1.5 Friday to Sunday

  • Holiday entitlement: 4 Weeks + Stats

    • Christmas shut down (no holidays required from employee)

  • Company uniform & PPE provided

  • Permanent position
