CNC Turner Night Shift

My growing client, a market leading manufacturer are looking for a CNC Turner to work on their night shift.

Ideally you will have programming experience using Fanuc however a desire to learn and progress is welcomed in this friendly environment. To be successful in your application our client is looking for the following skills:

Setting and Operating a number of CNC Turning machines to produce a range of components whilst maintaining the highest quality at all times

Ideally, we expect you to be an apprentice-trained machinist, with previous CNC machining experience (involving both programme prove-out and editing ability) as well as understanding Fanuc and Haas controls.

You will have the ability to interpret and work from a variety of technical drawings and specifications as well as having a good understanding of the complexities of working with various materials e.g. stainless steels, duplex and nickel alloys.

You will also be fully conversant with all forms of measuring equipment and gauging techniques.

This role requires you to have the ability to demonstrate real initiative, particularly with regards to fault-finding and problem solving, and that you are able to work with minimal supervision. You must be able to work to tight timescales, be a good team player and have a flexible work approach

In return my client is offering a basic salary of between £22000 - £25000 depending on experience plus and excellent Night Shift Allowance
