Kinetic are looking to recruit a CNC Turner & CNC Miller Programmers to work with a leading engineering business at their new facility in East Lancashire.
The ability to be able to program using Haas, Fanuc OR Mazatrol is essential

Overview:

Position: CNC Miller/Turners with Programming experience
Location: Blackburn
Hours: Days & Shifts available, 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm & Nights also available
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £15 - £20 per hour DOE (Also a weekend role paying £30/hr on nights)

Kinetic are seeking to recruit a CNC Turner to work with a leading engineering business at their new facility in East Lancashire. The ability to program using Mazatrol is essential.

THE ROLE:

The position of CNC Turner will consist of the following tasks and duties;

* Working within a predominantly medium to high batch machining cell this role is to program, set and operate Barfed Mazak CNC Lathes with C axis/Sub spindles.
* Due to the type of work, you will have excellent tooling knowledge and the ability to ensure cutting strategy suits high volume production.
* With a high attention to details this role will require an engineer from an environment of high tolerance work e.g. automotive/aerospace.

THE CANDIDATE:

To be considered for the CNC Turners position you will need the following skills and experience;

* Ability to program using Mazatrol controls.
* Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts.
* Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys.
* A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential.

CNC Miller:

THE ROLE:

The position of the CNC Miller Programmer will consist of the following tasks and duties;

* Working within a predominantly low batch machining cell this role is to program, set and operate vertical and horizontal CNC Machining Centres.
* Due to the type of work, frequent and efficient setups are required. There is also a need to be involved in the inspection process for 1st off checks and in process checks.
* With a high attention to detail, this role will require an engineer from an environment of high tolerance, low batch work.

THE CANDIDATE:

To be considered for the CNC Miller Programmer, you will need the following skills and experience;

* Ability to program using Haas or Fanuc
* Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings and deliver conforming parts
* Working with various materials including exotic grade alloys
* A detailed understanding of engineering drawing, tooling selection, work holding & cutting strategy is essential.
