Position description

CNC Miller operator

Our client specialises in the turnkey supply of complex finished parts. The service provided includes design-for-manufacture consultation, raw materials provision and fully validated manufacturing with all required treatments/processes. We require a CNC Programmer/Setter to work days or night shift

We are looking for a CNC Setter/ programmer - who ideally have the following skills:

*+2 years Programming experience.
*Fully skilled ideally time served setter/programmer with milling or turning experience.
*Understand Technical product drawings and be able to translate the requirement into an efficient machining approach, while also achieving required Quality standard.
*Be able to manage your own workload, solve problems and inspect your own work.
*Understanding of how to read engineering design drawings.
*Setting and running CNC machines, producing finished components to the highest standards
*Experience on Fanuc(G-Code) to assist in running machines
*Using own initiative
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to work to tight deadlines
*Able to approach work with a degree of flexibility due to the varied workload
*To work as part of a larger team
