Position description

CNC Millers and Turners

We take the time to understand our client and candidates needs so that we are able to help those looking to hire and those looking for work.

We are currently working in partnership with a company who makes part to supplies a range of industries including aerospace, medical ,defense and the gas and oil industry. At present due to rapid growth and expansion our client is looking to take on a time served CNC millers ans CNC turners . As part of the engineering/manufacturing team you will be a skilled and experienced Miller or Turner who can set and programme machine with a minimal supervision.
You have a chance to join in night shift teams or double-days shift.

We are looking for a CNC Setter/Programmer - who ideally has the following skills:

At least 5 years experience setting CNC machines
At least 2 years experience programming CNC machines
Understanding of how to read engineering design drawings will be an advantage.
Setting and running CNC machines, producing finished components to the highest standards
Using own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Able to approach work with a degree of flexibility due to the varied workload
To work as part of a larger team
