Futures Recruitment Services is excited to be partnering with an international metal hardware manufacturer based in Bognor Regis. We’re on the lookout for a skilled and proactive CNC Programmer Setter to become a vital part of their dynamic team.

What’s the Role All About?

In this autonomous position, you’ll take charge of programming, setting, and operating sliding head CNC bar-fed lathes, all using Fanuc controllers. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high production standards and ensuring precision engineering at its best.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and fine-tune CNC programs (Fanuc controllers) both from scratch and by adapting existing ones.

Perform first-off inspections, ensuring each part meets exacting quality standards.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement through TPM and 5S practices.

Collaborate with the wider team to drive productivity and innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

Solid experience in CNC programming and setting, ideally on sliding head CNC bar-fed lathes.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Experience working with a variety of materials — stainless steel, mild steels, brass.

A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for precision engineering.
