Recent, substantial capital investment has resulted in a period of sustained growth and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a CNC Programmer Setter Operator to join our team
_ CNC programming and setting experience is ESSENTIAL(Fanuc controls)
_ Ability to understand interpret engineering drawings
_ Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
_ Maintain a safe working environment ensuring all company procedures are followed
_ Commitment, dedication and willingness to succeed and progress is a must
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
_ Strong knowledge of the equipment within a machine shop, experience of manufacturing precision parts to tight tolerances on CNC machines, lathes and millers.
_ The ability to program both driven Y, C axis lathes and more essentially vertical milling machine centres.
_ Ideally have experience of both turning and milling on manual machines and demonstrate hands on capability.
_ Excellent communication skills and a proactive team player
_ Knowledge of CMM machines particularly Faro would be an advantage
_ Knowledge and understanding of Fanuc control systems
_ Ability to set and operate as required.
_ Knowledge of TPM programs an advantage
_ Ability to provide solutions to decrease cycle times and overcome day to day machining issues.
_ Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
