CNC Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator looking to join a dynamic and exciting team based in Braintree.

Duties:
Programming, setting, changing over, maintaining and operating a variety of punch, bending and press
machinery in line with instructions and work orders.
Read, understand and work from technical CAD drawings.
Advising QA Technician and Design department of any issues with production and technical drawing.
Check finished component quality through the use of various measuring instruments, gauges and inspection
equipment to ensure compliance to technical CAD drawing.
Record that you have checked and are satisfied with the quality on documentation.
Ensuring that machinery to be operated is safe and complies with all current and implied health and safety
requirements.
Wearing the appropriate P.P.E.
Coordinating with colleagues to ensure machinery is operated to achieve the outputs the machine has been
set to perform.
Monitor stock levels and advise Planning Department.
To work using own initiative with limited supervision.
Maintaining the machinery in good working order and a clean and tidy work area.
To ensure a safe working environment is maintained and continually improved with the use of risk
assessments, work instructions and safe systems of work. Ensuring that team members are competent and
comply with all Health and Safety standards, company and legal requirements e.g. the Health and Safety at
Work Act 1974, Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
Any other reasonable duties requested by management.

Requirements:
Previous CNC Experience, preferably using EHRT Machine
Ability to read and understand CAD Technical drawings

Salary between £21,000 - £22,000 per annum.
