We are a globally recognised machining organisation, who manufacture high precision EDM components for the aerospace industry. Due to being in growth are looking for a CNC Miller to support our West Midlands based Machine Shop.
You will be working within a high-pressure machining environment, meeting deadlines and using your initiative to overcome problems resolving production issues. Under certain circumstances overtime and extra hours may be required to complete the task at hand and keeps production flowing.
Day to day duties will include the following:
. Working with, supporting and maintaining CNC Milling Machines, assisting with tooling changes and general production engineering responsibilities.
. Applicants must be conversant within CNC machining for aerospace, defence or automotive sectors and possess relevant experience within CNC Milling on multi-axis machining centres
. Part-programming experience on Hurco CNC is preferable, using Winmax or Ultimax software. Experience with Edgecam would be an advantage, in addition to being able to work occasional overtime to support the needs of the business.
. Applicants must be capable of reading engineering drawings, able to work on own initiative, and work as part of a team.
