CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator - Days/Nights - £40k+ - Irvine

Our client is a well-established precision engineering business that specialise in the design and manufacture of high value and complex components that are supplied into leading companies within industries such as Oil&Gas, Nuclear, MOD and Energy. They work to the highest quality standards and have various accreditations in place to ensure this continues and offer a highly competitive, fast and cost effective service to all of their customers which has resulted in long term relationships as well as well as new business through the companies reputation. Our client continues to invest in the latest technology and machinery as have an ongoing investment policy in place and because of this now require an experienced CNC Miller to join their team.

To be considered for the role you must:

  • Ideally be Apprentice Trained / Time Served
  • Have a strong CNC Milling background of at least 5 years
  • Have strong experience with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controls
  • Be able to work direct from engineering drawings
  • Be able to work to tight tolerances
  • Any CAD/CAM Software experience is an advantage but not essential

This role will be working a rotating days and nights shifts working just four days a week Monday to Thursday. The hours of work are 7am to 5pm on days and 9pm to 7am on nights. The role is paying a basic rate of up to £17ph depending on your previous experience and skills but with the shift allowance on nights £40k + is easily achievable. As well as this and due to the company growth, there are always potential career progression opportunities for the right candidate.
