CNC Turner required for a temp to permanent position for an Aerospace organisation based near Colne.
Your new company
Your new company is an Aerospace organisation that produce components for both the Civil and Military sectors. This company is a family run business, and is looking for a new member of the team. This organisation run both 6-2 and 2-10 shifts along with nights. You will initially start the role on a day shift in order to complete their onsite training.
Your new role
As part of your new role, you will be responsible to programme, set and operate your machine in order to produce your component. Programming will be a combination of both offline and at the machine and with using both ISO and Mazatrol languages.
What you'll need to succeed
Reporting to the Team Leaders you will have gained suitable experience and/or qualification in a mechanical engineering environment, with a track record of competence and confidence in programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC Lathes using Mazatrol controls. Knowledge and experience with 5 Axis Mill-Turn machines will also be a distinct advantage.
What you'll get in return
You will initially start the role temporary, and be paid directly via Hays every Friday. You will initially start a 12 week "trial" basis in which subject to this going well, you will then be taken on permanent by the organisation. The company operate a rotating days and also a night shift. If you have a preference in which shift you would like to work, then please indicate this upon registration. Double day shift allowance is 25% and night is 40%.
