We are a family owned business based at Rayleigh Weir that has been trading since 1948, working in automotive, defence, marine and leisure industries. We are involved in the design and manufacture of prototype and production tooling along with jigs, fixtures and components. The work is both varied and diverse and not normally repetitive.
The position available is for a CNC machinist, preferably experienced in the machining of a wide variety of materials. Ideally you will have a knowledge of HAAS or Heidenhain controls. On-site training will be provided in the use of AutodeskPowerMill software for the 3D milling of components.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm (overtime normally available)
20 days holiday + bank holidays rising to 23 days + bank holidays after 3 years service.
Hourly pay - Negotiable depending upon experience.
