CNC Machine Operator near Burnley Weekend Days between £15 and £17 plus a weekly bonus
Your new company
Your new company is a specialist engineering company based in Atham, Lancashire between Accrington and Burnley. Due to a number of contracts, they are seeking a number of experienced CNC Machine Operators for long term temporary contracts. This role is specifically on Weekend Days, with a shift allowance of 50% + a weekly bonus
Your new role
This CNC job will be responsible for the operation of the most up-to-date CNC machines and other equipment to produce conforming components, within the established time and to the required quality standard. You'll assist with machine set-ups as required, set tools, load to machine and change as necessary. For the skilled positions you'll be responsible for reading the job requirements from drawings, production cards or job instruction sheets, this is including geometric dimensioning and tolerances. Finally, you'll verify that components conform to drawing using appropriate, defined measuring equipment and quality procedures
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have at least 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing / engineering environment and ideally at least 1 years' experience of operating multi axis CNC machine tools. For the skilled positions you must be time-served with a recognised apprentice and you'll have experience of working to and implementing quality standards across your role.
What you'll get in return
You will receive an hourly rate of between £10.06 and £11.35 basic days rate, but with shift allowance this would increase to between £15.10 and £17.02 with a weekly bonus of up to £85.02.
