CNC Machinist Turner

Our client is a successful expanding medical manufacturer in the Cirencester area, they are looking for competent CNC Machinist Turner to Programme, Set and Operate the lathes and join their team reporting to the shift manager. The successful candidate will benefit from a basic salary of £18000-£22000 depending on experience plus shift allowance with double days or nights available. There is also an extensive benefits package including Private Health Care and an excellent pension contribution.

Primary tasks will include:

*To set and operate CNC Lathes
*To carry out all quality checks on products produced on the CNC Lathes
*Work to the companies Health & Safety procedures
*To liaise with immediate Supervisor to ensure adequate resources are available to meet production requirements
*To liaise with Supervisor to ensure the equipment is maintained to the company Standards
*To ensure good housekeeping
*To attend to all necessary paperwork and maintain accurate record keeping
*All applicable procedures must be adhered to
*To ensure correct revision of CNC programme is used

Key Results Areas: To maximise productivity and ensure quality

*Have completed recognised engineering apprenticeship or have an engineering background to at least +2 years' experience setting and 1 years' experience in programming.
*Good standard of general secondary education.
*Training in appropriate procedures (SOP's, WI's, STM's)
*Internal GMP training
*Ability to work different shift patterns
