Job Title: CMM Programmer
Location: Coventry / Warwickshire
Salary: Dependent on Experience up to £13.25p / hr
CMM Programmer for a Nikon (LK) CMM with Camio Software, the CMM is fitted with a Laser Scanning Head with Focus Software, and also used is Control X Software specifically for the measurement of tooling used predominantly within the Aerospace Industry, therefore experience with Nikon CMM and the stated software packages would be desirable but is not essential as considerations will also most definitely be given to candidates experienced in the use of other CMMs and software packages that are willing to diversify and train, and also candidates that have a strong engineering background and looking to develop and progress in to CMM programming, The role will allow complete ownership of the CMM Inspection process and Department.
The ideal candidates will be Apprentice Trained or Suitably experienced and qualified engineers with at least 3 years' experience gained from within the Aerospace Industry, The role allows complete ownership of the CMM Inspection process and therefore candidates must be capable of working on their own initiative and managing their time effectively to ensure the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction are consistently met or exceeded, candidates must monitor their own performance and productivity with a continuous improvement mindset, and must also be able to complete accurate legible written records and associated production paperwork requirements as well as adhere to written works instructions, safe working practices and maintain a safe and tidy work area at all times.
Terms and Conditions:
This is a Day Shift position 7:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thur with 1/2hr Lunch break and 7:30am to 11:30am on Fri (38hrs / wk), the hourly rate of pay is up to £13.25p / hr dependent on experience.
