We are looking for a talented, analytical and solution-oriented Cloud Architect to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary software development and architecture team. This role is a permanent, full-time vacancy, and we are offering flexible working arrangements to suit individual needs.
As a Cloud Architect working within Software Development, you will be integral to our multi-discipline agile product teams delivering cloud enabled architecture. You will be leveraging your experience of moving applications to cloud to drive a platform transformation approach working with development teams to ensure alignment to design and to support delivery, best practise guidance, and technical expertise.
You will support bid delivery with innovative solutions aligned to the product and architectural roadmaps. You will provide technical leadership to support the objectives of the Head of Architecture through planning and applying structured strategic change to software products, influence development methods and approaches.
You will provide mentoring to members of the Software Development team - beyond the architecture team - on technology and ways of working aligned to the strategy and objectives of the business.
As our ideal candidate, you’ll have strong knowledge and demonstrable experience of solution design and architecture with knowledge of cloud technologies, design approaches and application implementation in Azure, AWS, GCP, PaaS and SaaS services. An understanding of service orientated architecture is essential, as it experience of working in an agile environment. You will have the ability to envision and deliver software solutions that meet user needs and solve business problems and have a proven aptitude to rapidly adopt and implement new technologies, and to drive innovation in approaches to development.
