Clinical Teaching Fellow
The base of the successful applicant will be the Royal Hospital for Children.
The Directorate of Medical Education seeks to appoint an enthusiastic individual to assist in the delivery of undergraduate teaching at RHC. The post would ideally suit any trainee with an interest and experience in Paediatrics.
The post is for one year and contributes to a team of Clinical Teaching Fellows within Medical Education in NHSGGC, one of which is a Clinical Simulation Fellow.
It is anticipated that between 5 sessions (20 hours) and 7 sessions (28 hours) per week will be devoted to teaching activities (worked flexibly). A regular contribution to other teaching, including simulation, multi-disciplinary teaching and supporting the NHSGGC Widening Access to Medicine Programme will also be expected.
Allocation of site specific clinical and teaching duties will be outlined in the postholder’s job plan organised by the site Hospital Sub Dean, Associate Director of Medical Education and Simulation Lead.
Other duties may be allocated from time to time as directed by the Director of Medical Education.
