Clinical Supply Chain Manager - Home Based

The Supply Chain Manager’s role focuses on the interpretation of clinical protocols and clients’ operating procedures that will be successfully interpreted into robust supply chain solutions. Working directly with key stakeholders, often at programme or account-wide level, you will develop processes and procedures ensuring clinical stock availability through forecasting, scheduling, operational coordination and risk management. You will have the ability to pull together cross-functional teams for study management activities and to ensure full regulatory compliance. Internal contacts will include the Client Services Project Management team while externally they will include CROs, IVR/IWR providers, client clinical supply teams and client clinical management teams.
While you will eventually work from home, please note that you must be able to commit to a training period of around 3-4 months, during which you will be based full-time at the company’s site in the South East. Accommodation expenses will be covered for this period.
Home-based in the UK, with full home office support, this position offers a highly competitive salary to £45,000pa plus contributory pension scheme, annual bonus scheme and private health cover.
The successful candidate will have a full understanding of Project Management and Supply Chain Management relative to Clinical Supplies. This will include a knowledge of all trial phases and how protocols translate into the entire supply chain plan. Candidates are welcome from both service provider and sponsor/pharmaceutical company environments. This role could suit a Clinical Supplies professional or a person with related skills in IxRS, clinical pharmacy, clinical trial services, clinical logistical services etc.
