The Ophthalmology services are centred at King’s College Hospital, Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup and Princess Royal University Hospital, Orpington and staffed by 30 Consultants making it the second largest eye department in London and one of the largest in the UK.
Applications are invited for a Band 7 Ophthalmic Nurse specialising in Medical Retina to be based at the Princess Royal Hospital (PRUH) and Orpington. The post holder will provide expert care to medical retina patients and this will include the administration of intravitreal injections and the examination of patients in consultant led and nurse led clinics. The post holder must have demonstrable experience working in and caring for patients in the sub speciality of Medical Retina. The post holder must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and is able to work well within a team.
