This can vary from a course of IV antibiotics to lifelong nutritional support.
So, what will the role of Clinical Nurse Advisor (Community Nurse - RGN) entail?
Reporting to the Regional Nurse Manager, as a Clinical Nurse Advisor you will manage a patient caseload in your local region focusing on individual needs. This will involve facilitating the safe discharge of enteral/Parenteral/IV therapy patients in liaison with hospitals and providing ongoing nursing support in the community for patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
You will be monitoring and delivering nutritional support for patients in the comfort of their own homes. Visiting a variety of patients daily, you will connect and disconnect patients to a parenteral feeding system giving them the essential nutrients they need to thrive.
What will I need to be considered for this Clinical Nurse Advisor (Community Nurse - RGN) vacancy?
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with at least 2 years’ experience that includes some IV administration experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently providing the highest standard of care
- Enthusiasm to learn
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility towards working days and home visit locations

Salary: Equivalent to Band 6, plus performance bonus and lunch allowance.

Contract Type: Permanent, full time
Hours of Work: 3 days per week on a rota. Working from 7.30am to 8.30pm.
Location: Community based within and around the area of Middlesex.
