Compass Life Sciences are working in partnership with a leading UK CRO in their search for a Clinical Manager. Our client is a specialist in vaccines discovery and treatment of infectious diseases, a rapidly expanding area of projects in this area has meant our client is going through a significant period of growth. For this opportunity, our client is looking for experienced Managers of research clinics / Wards to join the team and take leadership of the day to day operations of the clinical site.


Significant experience in managing and running a clinic/ward
Bachelor's degree in general nursing registration or equivalent
Previous demonstrable experience of managing the workload of a nursing team
Ability to lead and influence change at an operational level
Well-developed knowledge and understanding of clinical supervision
Experience in delivering clinical training
Registration with the NMC as RN
Valid Immediate Life Support and Advanced Life Support


In this role your main responsibilities will be to ensure the clinical governance of the unit and manage the health and safety of volunteers for clinical trails as well as sustaining the communications between different departments of the business to ensure the clinical site operates smoothly.
You will ensure all clinical duties are performed in compliance with the NMC and the appropriate regulatory requirements are met as well as maintaining SOPs. This will also include the management of resource requirements across all projects at the site.
