What you’ll be doing

We are recruiting for a full-time, temporary Clinical Librarian to work at an NHS Trust based in East London. This role will be working 37.5 hours per week for an initial period of three months.

The primary focus of this Clinical Librarian job will be to conduct medical literature searches to support library users. The Clinical Librarian will provide a mediated evidence search service to help staff to access the evidence they need to drive service redesign and development and improve patient care.

You will use your highly developed professional research skills and judgement to filter valid and appropriate information to the user and present results in an appropriate format. Using your critical appraisal skills you will select and evaluate the evidence and prepare summaries or digests as required.
