Salary: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour (Equivalent to £33,696 - £35,568 per annum) + Benefits

Clinical Lead required for a reputable prestigious care home provider with an outstanding reputation. We are leading their search for a Clinical Lead Nurse in the Bromsgrove area of Birmingham. As the Clinical Lead, your role will be to manage all care and nursing needs also to promote best practices.
The home has 31 residents at present and provides care packages for people with physical disabilities and who may require Dementia care, palliative care and residential care.
The facility is well run with an extremely experienced Home manager, General Manager and Clinical lead to all 31 beds, divided into residential, general and dementia nursing units, both nursing units are run by Clinical Leads.
The facility offers plenty of activities; most recent CQC scores Good for all areas and offers longstanding staff and excellent staffing levels due to the longevity of the nurse manager running the home. The home runs smoothly and has astounding staff retention levels.
Clinical Lead duties are as follows:
"Direct responsibility for the performance of staff nurses and care staff within the home
"Ensuring all training and up-skilling is completed
"Completing inductions and supervisions for your unit
"Spot checking care plans
"Staff rotation and monitoring
"Auditing care plans
"Checking any clinical work completed
"Family liaison for your designated unit
You will liaise with a multi-disciplinary team including CQC and generally assist the home manager in day to day duties and have a good mix of clinical and supernumerary time at your own discretion offering autonomy within your role.

As a Clinical Lead Nurse:
Firstly and foremost you must be a Registered Nurse - RGN/RMN or RNLD qualified with excellent clinical skills and an active NMC pin. You will come from a care home background with experience of working with elderly and dementia, with a minimum of a years' experience in a staff nurse/senior role or a nurse management position. You will have experience of managing staffing levels and overseeing nurses.
