Clinical Lead Tissue Viability

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to take up the position of Clinical Lead for Tissue Viability at the newly merged Bedfordshire University Hospital Foundation Trust.

The post holder will be responsible for providing excellent visible leadership, knowledge and expertise in relation to Tissue Viability across both Luton and Bedford Hospital Sites, promoting good practice, whilst keeping patients at the heart of all professional practice.

As well as working closely with our multi-agency partners, the post holder will be expected to participate in initiatives to facilitate collaborative working.

The right individual must be able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of current Tissue Viability, guidance and practice as well as being highly experienced, hardworking, innovative and committed to making a difference. You will be a dynamic and passionate Senior Nurse who has the ability to:

• Ensure that compassionate patient centred care, safety and the patient experience is embedded in every day practice.
• Line manage the Tissue Viability Nurses on both sites providing mentoring, coaching and supervision.
• Work very closely with the Corporate Nursing team to meet the strategic vision for the Tissues Viability Service.
