Clinical Fellow in Acute Medicine

We are excited to invite applications for a Clinical Fellow post within our Acute Medicine Department at the University Hospital Crosshouse from 7 February 2018 until 31 July 2018 in the first instance.

Operating at middle grade level this post will provide extremely valuable experience to those looking to enter specialty training gain further experience and knowledge in working towards attainment of full MRCP or developing clinical skills relevant to the pursuance of specialist registration via the CESR route.

You will contribute to the provision of high quality unscheduled medical care within the combined assessment unit and medical high dependency unit with opportunities to participate in departmental teaching audit quality improvement and research work.

Applicants must have satisfactory evidence of completion of foundation training (or equivalent) and preferably have further general medical/sub-specialty experience. MRCP (UK) is desirable. Full GMC registration with a current license to practice is essential.

Posts will be offered for 6 months in the first instance with a view to extend. Salary: ?31220 - ?49091 pa plus rota supplement of up to 50%. Placement on scale will be based on experience. This post is not recognised for training but have been designed to support future employment status including developing CVs to support application for
Specialty training and are built on sound educational governance principles.
