Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist

A vacancy for a band 8a clinical/ counselling psychologist has come up in King's College Hospital Dental Institute's psychology service. This is an established clinical health psychology service comprising four qualified psychologists that serves the Dental Institute's pain, special dentistry, trauma and oral surgery pathways.

This post would suit a motivated clinical/ counselling psychologist who is keen to augment their therapeutic skills in a clinical health psychology setting and who is able to take on a varied caseload that involves working with trauma, anxiety, distress around body image and pain.

The successful applicant would also be required to provide supervision, take a lead in MDT clinics in one or more of the pathways above, and to contribute to the strategic development of the service.
