Time Recruitment is assisting a specialist nurse led provider who specialise in providing care for those with complex needs by delivering clinical excellence in their search for a Clinical Assessor for their facilities in West Midlands; their facilities specifically cater to younger and older adults with complex needs arising from mental ill health, developmental disorders, neuro-disability, autism, learning disability and major trauma.

The company started as a healthcare training provider for overseas nurses and became a nurse led care organisation when realising younger adults were placed inappropriately in elderly care settings and now offer a national specialist service for those adults operating with 25 + facilities and growing significantly this year.

As a Clinical Assessor you will work with the local hospitals, services and in the community based in Birmingham, West Midlands, residents will be referred to you for your assessment expertise; your role will be to implement care and costing packages for potential patients and assist with the increase of occupancy levels across the group.

You will work closely with local councils; home managers, ward managers and CCG in your role, ensuring patients are suited to the services and having an excellent knowledge of the nursing skill mix in individual facilities and placing residents appropriately in facilities suited to their needs.

This is a newly developed role for those who enjoy assessment and discharge and have experience in complex assessments; patients coming into the service will be younger or older adults with physical, learning disabilities, neurological; ABI, dementia or general nursing needs so clinical knowledge in this area is advantageous.
