Position: Client Services Manager
Location: South East Midlands Region – Flitwick (MK45)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £29,000 to 34,000 per annum
About the role:
They have one of the country’s largest teams of dedicated service charge accountants with a growing National client base, which is where this opportunity arises.
The role of the service charge team is to deliver a first-class service to their clients and contribute to the sector as whole. They undertake a variety of work types for their clients including; accounts preparation and certification, auditing services, taxation compliance, outsourcing solutions, reporting for trade associations and consultancy & general advice.
The role has varied disciplines acting as the client services manager (key Account Manager) for one or more key clients including preparing service charge accounts, undertaking audit assignments, manage the more junior team members to work on a portfolio of accounts under your control and generally meeting the client needs wherever possible. The role will also entail being involved with practice management and workflow management for the wider team.
A fully supported training package (both internal and professional qualifications) is offered with this role
- AAT qualified, as a minimum, but ideally part of fully ACCA / ACA qualified.
- Have a solid accounting experience ideally obtained within practice
- Knowledge of service charge accounting would be an advantage
- Have strong management, communication and organisational skills
- Have experience of managing and controlling workflows in a practice environment
- Be focused to work towards both personal and team goals
- Have the ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and respond promptly to requests
- Be proficient in Outlook and Word
- Experience in Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
