An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Client Services Administrator to join a highly successful Partner Practice of St. James’s Place Wealth Management.

St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading and highly regarded FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. SJP has funds under management in excess of £90bn.

This Practice is well established and highly successful.

The Role - Client Services Administrator

We are seeking a Client Services Administrator to take ownership of the service delivery to our valued clients. The emphasis is on ownership as it will be the Associate’s responsibility to ensure all aspects of client servicing is achieved to an exceptional standard.

The role will entail the following tasks:

  • Scheduling meetings
  • Preparing meetings packets
  • Obtaining up to date information from client, international and external administration teams and updating our internal records and software systems (iBusiness, Curo, Voyant)
  • Preparing application packets for new business
  • Processing new business and submitting applications
  • Handling ongoing servicing queries
  • Updating client files and records
  • Typing up meeting notes
  • Managing all client needs to guarantee they are met in a timely manner
  • Handling all client mailings
  • Managing all client servicing objectives which is outlined in our client service proposition


There will be an initial period of training to learn new processes and skills. In addition we encourage our team members to complete the St. James’s Place Support Staff Development Training Programme which will provide you with a solid foundation for a career within a Financial Services Practice.


The Person - Client Services Administrator

This is an interesting and challenging role that would suit a confident, numerate and professional individual who enjoys using their initiative and who has a 'can do’ working style.

It is essential that you value exceptional client service, that you are committed to delivering it and will go the extra mile. You will enjoy taking ownership of a situation and be able to work within tight deadlines.

You have exceptional communication skills and are highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. You will have strong written and problem solving skills. You are a self starter and able to work with little or no supervision. You are reliable with proven office management, administrative or personal assistant experience and good IT skills.

You will have contact with clients so it is essential you are confident in dealing with third parties and can work with total discretion.

Essential skills/experience:

  • A proven track record as an effective Client Services Administrator

  • Enjoy working as part of a team

  • Able to manage tasks and processes

  • It would be helpful if you have worked within the financial service or a similar industry but is not essential

  • Experienced in the use and applications of Microsoft Office
