Client Relationship Manager - Share Plans

Equiniti Premier Services provides outsourced executive and discretionary share plan administration, specialist share plan administration software for clients, brokerage and dealing services, and technology solutions. Our Relationship Management team are trusted advisors to our clients and play a key role in providing insight and thought leadership around share plan industry subjects.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Client Relationship Manager to join our team. The role is essential in ensuring both client generation and retention through focused relationship management. This position can be based either in our London or Worthing offices. This role will suit an individual from a share scheme/plan administration background, who enjoys owning and developing client relationships.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of client relationships from board level through to operational

  • Acting as a peer and subject matter expert by adding value to the clients business and understanding their markets

  • Building close and successful working relationships across Equiniti, particularly with colleagues across operations

  • Delivering targeted revenue across their client portfolio

  • Working closely with your clients to understand their business challenges and looking to offer additional solutions to solve complex business delivery challenges

  • Monitoring and delivering against agreed KPIs

  • Scheduling and conducting regular quality control/client feedback processes

  • Ensuring Equiniti meets its obligations as part of regular governance reporting, and owning delivery of actions arising from governance meetings;

  • New client generation activities and taking on account management responsibility for these clients

  • Keeping abreast of industry issues and activity which will have an impact on our clients, and acting as a thought leader for issues that may affect their environment

  • Working closely with Equiniti’s Group Sales function, to leverage capability, share insight and agree action plans relating to the strategic relationships with clients

  • Direct contact and close liaison with the administration teams to ensure services are delivered in line with clients’ expectations

    Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

  • A good understanding of and a genuine interest in the share plan industry, and a desire to innovate within that area

  • Proven experience of delivering excellence in response to high client expectations

  • High level relationship management skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across a broad range of stakeholders

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to communicate at board level/senior management

  • Experience in a revenue generating relationship management role

  • Robust time management and planning skills

  • An ability to work successfully remotely, coupled with the ability to maintain a regular presence in our sites in London and Worthing
