£350 a day (Inside IR35)
North West (5 days a week remote)

Background

My clients response to Covid has been to create a new capability to deliver a mechanism and process to carry out spot checks. This has involved working internally in the organisation and with external partners to develop and deliver the overall spot check solution.

This role plays a key part in developing and managing the relationships and interactions with Local Authorities and other external customers in making workplaces Covid secure.

Key Responsibilities


* Create awareness, understanding and advocacy of the HSE Spot Check Service across Local Authorities
* Understand local challenges and customer requirements against the service offer
* Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
* Lead Steering Groups and communication forums sharing insights and progress on Covid Spot Checks
* Resolve issues and problems faced by Local Authorities and deal with complaints to maintain trust
* Play an integral part in identifying and onboarding new Local Authorities to the HSE Covid Spot Check Service
* Oversea completion of Local Authority deliverables and reporting in line with SLAs
* Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal stakeholders using key account metrics

Essential Skills and Experience

* Proven experience as a Client Relationship Manager (in the Public Sector)
* Experience in providing solutions to local government organisations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels
* Ability in Problem Solving and Negotiation
* Excellent Planning, Scheduling and Co-ordination and organisational skills with the ability to work to meet deadlines and manage own workload
* Highly Motivated, committed and passionate in what you do.
* Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to use own initiative
* Understands the context and nature of the Covid challenge and the response
* Previous Events Management experience preferred but not essential
* Flexibility in approach, comfortable working in an environment that is fast moving and subject to ongoing change.
