Client Relationship Manager - Dutch, French or German speaking
£25,000 per annum+ benefits
Reports To: Head of Client Services & Account Management (CSAM)
In an age of increasing global mobility, the company's products and services inform, guide and support managers handling compensation and benefits for international workers moving around the world on a short-term, long-term or permanent basis.These products are complemented by specialist consultancy, training programmes and dedicated support from in-house client services teams in London, Hong Kong, New York and Sydney.
The Client Services and Account Management team is responsible for:
o retaining existing clients;
o finding and attracting new clients and prospects; and
o working together with the development teams as part of the business development process.
Retain and grow an assigned portfolio of clients, by keeping in touch with the client’s business and HR teams, being aware of economic, political and social events which are likely to be of interest to the client and identifying the appropriate time to upsell additional products and services. This will involve:
o acting as the primary customer contact for technical and business enquiries;
o meeting clients regularly on an agreed schedule, to answer any questions, maintain relationships and demonstrate new or revised products to them;
o responding promptly to any incoming client inquiries (24 hour response);
o communicating regularly with international offices and making sure that they are fully aware of all client contacts in their territories / regions;
o writing comprehensive meeting reports on all business meetings; and
o training other members of the account team and exchanging market knowledge.
Identify new potential clients who might be interested in offering, and make initial contacts as required. This will include:
o developing an understanding of competitors’ positions;
o using an existing database of industry contacts to generate new business;
o following up on new business opportunities and setting up meetings wherever possible;
The successful candidate will require:
2+ years experience in account management, customer services or client services role
Graduate calibre candidates with fluency in either French, Dutch or German
Strong numeracy and analytical skills as there will be a maths test at the interview stage
Advanced MS Office and IT Skills.
