Client Portfolio Manager - Practice

We are working with a Top 20 Accountancy practice based in Hertfordshire, who are looking to recruit a Client Portfolio Manager to join their successful team.

The main function of this role is to provide high levels of service to the practice's clients as well as mentoring and developing staff in the delivery of such service in line with the company's vision.

Primary responsibilities will be centered around client development, client care as well as staff development. You will be able to work quickly and accurately, have a good eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines. Good computer skills and knowledge of generally used accountancy, bookkeeping and tax software packages are key.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and sensitivity to be able to keep client and team matters confidential. Strong leadership skills are a must.

Your technical knowledge of personal and business tax issues will be of a high level, any experience of Agricultural, business property relief, capital gains and inheritance tax would be a strong advantage.

You will review annual financial statements as well as assessing the financial statements against relevant disclosure checklist in compliance with FRS102 and Companies Act

- ACA/ACCA Qualified or equivalent
- previous experience in similar position at Supervisor or Manager level is crucial
